New Domain & some updates on my diet

Eating helfy ^ Just some of the meals I've been having recently; stir-frys, pasta, chicken, potatoes, honey roast ham, rice, egg, spring onions, onions, broccoli, lettuce, peppers, pork, lamb and even some hot dog in there. Vast & varied calorie dense food, good and important for building a strong basis for training. I heard once someone describe food as the "catalyst" and I'm noticing promising results.

PostScript (It's what PS stands for if you didn't know!);

I've got a new domain which I will most likely start working on after the exam period; more news on that in the future.

Techniques for the bass drum pedal

                             ^ Picture has been used before in my other post; they are my feet and pedals. :D ^

As I've played drums for quite a while, I thought I'd make a post relating to some of the techniques I've came across for playing the bass drum;

Swivel - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gXINemV8E_0&feature=related - 0:37 - Gives you a good example to refer to for the capabilities of this technique.

Heel To Toe - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3lkZPJES45Q - Simple example of this techniques, minus the coupling; should sound like a clear fluid set of notes.

Slide - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NRqiQSUNFP4 - 0:10 - Start here and wait till it "kicks" in so to speak. A clear example of where this is used. This technique is one which I have used the most when creating my music. Chris Adler, the drummer shown in this video, prior to having the bass pedals he's using in this video, used Heel To Toe primarily because the pedals he used were less responsive, he explained that using this technique helped him in playing 'when the adrenaline is pumping' live. It gave him a secure basis.

3 Exams left & a bit of coursework

 Coming to the end of the A2 courses now, 1 ICT and 2 General Studies exams left, alongside a bit of coursework for Art & Sport. Choosing my apprenticeship and writing my C.V. carefully and constructively; everything should be sorted by the end of this month, so I can relax a bit!

Re-vamp

Over the next few weeks I hope to revamp the outlook of this blog. Lately, I have been caught up in exam prep and so forth, consequently, blogging time has been restricted. Recently, I've realised the lack of in-depth content within this blog, however, my blog is not about complex, detailed information, stories or anything else requiring me type lengthy material.

Despite saying this, I do intend to make my posts as fruitful & informative as possible in relation to what's going on!

Conditions & Deseases

Over my life I've accumlated numerous conditions from both training and other sources. Osgood schlatters, shin splints, allergies, headaches; the list goes on. What I want to know is some of the conditions you have come across in your life and how they've impacted on your life, also, what you did/do to combat/continue with them.

Supplements

I've just bought another 2.5kg box of this stuff; didn't use my last batch properly I don't believe. Anyone else using any kind of supplements, if so please state below. Also, pros and cons of such supplements and why it does/doesn't work for you is also relevant.

I'm sticking to a 3-day-split  and making sure I maintain my calorie intake, however, it's not all clean. My diet varies a lot day to day.
