Over my life I've accumlated numerous conditions from both training and other sources. Osgood schlatters, shin splints, allergies, headaches; the list goes on. What I want to know is some of the conditions you have come across in your life and how they've impacted on your life, also, what you did/do to combat/continue with them.
Nothing much more than Sinus Infections, but those can be a bitch, if you don't treat them asap. my head felt like a hammer hit it. :C
ReplyDeleteBetween soccer and weightlifting I've experienced some pretty intense pain in my quads. 1500mg of Advil a day usually helps, and it goes away after a day or two. I'm lucky enough that I don't have to deal with anything else.
ReplyDeleteI've had so many broken bones due to martial arts but they've all healed and grown stronger so not matter
ReplyDeleteI dislocated my shoulder playing high school football. Searing pain, as if the red hot tool of a blacksmith had been repeatedly pressed against my shoulder, shot through me for an hour and a half.
ReplyDeleteThese days it sometimes pop out when I wear a heavy backpack.
Asthma and Allergies, the find a way to ruin everything fun.
ReplyDeleteannoying stuff!
ReplyDeleteI am a medical wonder ha ha. I'm not 30 yet and I have had a double hernia and bells palsy. Both were a lot of fun and just took a little time to get over.
ReplyDeletehumm nothing serious, im lucky :)
ReplyDeleteWell to me, nothing really serious has happened, but whenever i come across something new, i check the internet and go to the doctor.
ReplyDeleteQuite a few different injuries & conditons here, keep em' coming. :)
ReplyDeleteworst injury was broken wrists compression fractures and I jacked up my back it better now but i dont really know what i did to it x.x
ReplyDeleteI basically lost an eye a year ago due to a dart penetrating it. And before you ask, yes, it was fun and games until that point. Shit happens.
ReplyDeleteI have a contact lens now to try to replace the one that was inside the eye, but it's pretty useless due to scarring on the eyeball from where it happened and from the stitches so there isn't much point wearing it.
